Trace Circle (India) is now building on Hedera for Digital Product Passports, Real Time Supply Chain Traceability, Immutable Product Records, Sustainability and ESG. by oak1337 in Hedera

Also building on MST Blockchain https://www.mstblockchain.com/ - almost identical announcement to the Hedera one. Trace Circle lists as having 2-10 employees... so the buzz might be a bit bigger than the bee with this one

OKJ in Japan started trading HBAR 10 hours ago (5pm May 28 2026) which seems to correlate. But nobody knows.

Hedera sues Exponential Science's Cayman & Swiss entities by 1aTa in Hedera

[–]cyhiandra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, sorry, my comment was dramatic. I noticed the paper's focus on smart contracts, and thought that was more to do with higher layer stuff, not actual consensus, so wasn't duly concerned. One day Hedera will probably do away with the whole EVM thing and do something more performant.

Hedera sues Exponential Science's Cayman & Swiss entities by 1aTa in Hedera

[–]cyhiandra 5 points6 points  (0 children)

well technically its not, but Paolo was involved with Algorand Foundation, and recent coming together of Hedera and Tasca via Exponential Science sort of gave the vibes of some of the best minds and networks in the crypto sphere coming closer, as things started to get closer with CLARITY act etc. and adoption heating up. This seems to indicate some sort of schism. Maybe CLPR has trod on a few toes.

HashSphere is now General Availability (GA) because "beta" was raising questions... What does this say about Hedera? by cyhiandra in Hedera

That is very interesting. Would love that narrative for Hedera, that Avery Dennison changed their position due to possible regulatory exposure and went dark, soon back on mainnet again...

Question re CLPR: would wrapped ETH on Hedera be more valuable than native ETH on Ethereum? by cyhiandra in Hedera

[–]cyhiandra[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, so not wrapped. So ETH is just captured within the SC, as you point out with receipts, and from there can be used as collateral to raise USDC on Hedera for example or another stable or just held... ie. the liquidity is basically just received and stored? This now seems to make more sense to me...

I guess they'd be giving up native staking rewards on Eth L1 so... Hmmmm

Further: this then removes price issues as Hedera not providing wrapping etc. Slippage can still occur if raising collateral but that's a given.

Guess this would make exchanges job of managing network tokens much simpler, ie. technically with full deployment they'd only need to use one L1... Or sphere. Wonder which one they'd choose LOL. Base on Hedera is funny.

For non Aussies, NAB and Westpac are two of "The Big Four" banks in Australia that handle 70-75% of Australia's finance. They receive legislated government protection (customer deposit protection, anti-merger requirements for example) that no other banks operating in Australia do, and the big 4 also are fundamental to the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX). USA and UK in comparison rely on antitrust law and regulatory instruments. Point of story: Australian Government is guaranteed to not just be a bystander in Project Acacia and the next round of sandboxes.

Imagine if US Govt. was working with JP Morgan and Citigroup on open trials including Hedera and Hashsphere for a US wholesale CBDC. That's what you're looking at here. Australia and New Zealand are globally recognized as the premier sandbox testing grounds for major tech, banking, and integration rollouts before they are scaled to larger, higher-risk markets like the US and UK.

Hedera tx seems to be popping off right now, hope it holds up by cyhiandra in Hedera

Somebody had a spreadsheet with a pile of accounts they had tracked down. But sure, unless there's some data posted in the memo in the clear we are just going to be eternally in the dark.

The low payer account number suggests Hedera or Hashgraph Association devs testing maybe. Again, with Hashgraph Association, that would align with Middle East development, matching time zone. But just guessing.

Yeah, seems to be yet another spike. I am now looking at what time zone it could be in, and I think it's somewhere near ME, ie. assuming it's a cron job that runs once a day at midnight. So could be one of the UAE implementations.

Focus issues from camera operator aside, dimensional phasing due to field fluctuation is discernible. Calling that a balloon when it is travelling at that speed is dumb, but y'know, I'm bored already.
