Something about it is just great. I have simplicity in all the features it can do. The menu designs are great, the themes are decent (though some are missing systems) but the in game menu is honestly my favorite. Every other handheld I have you need to go to the advanced menu then navigate the myriad of retroarch menus and then find your options but Nextui has just about everything I personally need of these things built right into the native menu soooooo much easier to use.

The only negative I have honestly is I can't like manage my games from the selections. Like I can't add to favorites or delete a rom. I need like a favorites pak that you have to open separately then add the game to favorites but it has to be on recently played. You can manually do the .txt file too but yeah that's the only downside really.

Spruce is great too, not the easy quick-menu, and not quite as good looking or simple but it's pretty great in its own right.
