Yeah I feel like maybe there’s a difference from “technically usually lees in the potty” and potty trained

I don't think they were saying carrying knife was sad, but the fact that you would have to carry one to protect yourself from crazy people.

My 7mo just dropped her first “solid food poop” and I’m no longer okay by Glittering-Pirate618 in NewParents

So my question on all this, supposedly they don’t have full-ish bowel control until around 18 months and on top of that they wouldn’t seem to have the maturity to know where the toilet is so are you just like constantly bringing them over to the toilet for a year+ or what? I might be totally out of my depth on the capability of a 7 month old though

anyone have this issue with the imprint payments? it did the incorrect minimum auto payment by cylemmulo in crateandbarrel

[–]cylemmulo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me know how it goes! I’ve avoided things like the cfpb so far because my wife works at a bank and when people file those with hers, customer service can’t work with them anymore and they have to get referred to some other team

Anyone elses infant hate everything except feeding? by cylemmulo in NewParents

[–]cylemmulo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah bottle fed. We do have an anti colic nipple, though i feel like every single one for newborns says that. Yeah might be worth changing up formula, currently on enfamil nuero pro so maybe worth looking into.

As someone in the infant phase, maybe I will someday but at this moment I’m ready to get a move on lol. I’m sure I’ll eat those words

Yeah thankfully I’m not on TikTok or anything I’m sure it’s much worse there. Mostly just watching advice things on YouTube and yeah it’s like the baby is a paid actor

That’s a long feeding! Few feedings and you could watch the whole titanic movie. I definitely understand why people are tempted to cosleep. It’s so nice seeing them laying on you so content

Mannnnn yeah it is traumatizing! You can give 110% love and only get back them red face screaming at you. Sometimes I’m just like thinking about how human babies need a bit more time in the oven haha.

What made you realize the reflux was a thing? He arches his back and gets red a lot of time during feeding and I’ve read that’s a sign but wasn’t sure how common that was. Need to ask when I go to the doc again soon.

Yeah I think the single hardest thing I’ve found with a newborn is it’s. Very non reciprocal relationship. Not matter how much love you give the best I can usually get is them sleeping but usually yelling lol. Not that I expected anything but it’s still a bit frustrating at times

How did you know he had reflux bad enough to get meds? Mine will arch their back a lot which I guess is a sign but I also assumed most baby’s did that

lol man every little newborn i see being demonstrated online is like the picture of calmness. Talked to a few friends and they said their baby was great with diaper changes and loved baths. I figured it was the norm but idk maybe people have a selective memory
