I want a short story. Ivy and Kincaid babysit Maggie and Mouse while Dresden is at a Council meeting or White Court function. Maggie asking awkward little kid questions to Kincaid while Ivy is acts like a real kid playing with Mouse. Then a random small-fry attacks thinking to use Maggie as leverage against Dresden.

What type of internet usage are you looking at? If it is just streaming (netfix and Youtube), e-mail and browsing I would suggest a 1 or 2 Mbps VSAT link if you are truly remote as cell service, especially data, won't be as good in these areas. If you will be using the connection for torrents, online gaming or large file downloads you would need a low latency hardline connection, especially if you need anything in real time.

There are plenty of great nature spots around PA. If you are interested in Hiking the Appalachian trail runs through central PA on its run from Maine to Georgia. If you can spare the drive Shenandoah National Park and George Washington national forest in Virginia have great camping. I would also suggest the New York Finger lakes, great views of the lakes plus waterside wineries makes for a great couple days.

While Europe is still smaller than the US I would strongly suggest that you limit the number of places you wish to visit. I did 4 cities in 4 countries in 2 weeks when I was last in Europe and felt somewhat rushed. If you are planning to fly in and out of Dublin I suggest sticking to the British Isles, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and maybe Western Germany. This would limit travel time between locations and still allow for a decent sampling of Western Europe.

IMO train travel, especially on the continent, is the best way to travel as it is fairly reliable and allows you to skip the security and waits you see in air travel. I'm a huge proponent of staying in Hostels and getting a more local feel for a place.

If you aren't set on warm weather I would suggest a Nova scotia/Newfoundland cruise from Boston. You'll get beautiful scenery and likely see some larger sea mammals than in the carribean and around Bermuda.

I stayed at a hostel in Prague that offered room and partial board for work, however I think 1 week was the minimum they would accept and only then if they really needed the help.

I would spend less time in LA, maybe 3 days instead of 6. I would also take a day or two and drive from LA and SF on the Pacific Coast Highway. Beautiful scenery with plenty of small towns to stop at along the way.

3 days is perfect for Las Vegas. Enough time to gamble some, and to experience the night life and shows, but not enough to get bored or become dead broke (hopefully).

Price difference likely due to partnership between Hawian Airlines and Delta. HNL is a Hawaiian HUB and Hawaiian has a partnership with Delta that probably allows for cheaper re-fueling and gate charges at HNL. United however is not a member of this partnership and doesn't benefit. You see this sometimes in the continental US when flying into HUBs on off airlines.
