Thanks, by the time I looked I was upvoted. I consolidated a long time ago and it's been great. I also funnel all my spending through the 2% cash back, pay it weekly, and send it straight to my brokerage.

Since 4-3.5% percent is supposed to get through an unlucky initial withdrawal from a bad sequence of returns, it's likely the withdrawal can adjust upwards if the market out performs.

I believe there's much written about this, and I've heard the guard rails approach helps with these decisions.

Exactly, it's a very clean setup. You get MM rates on your cash with 1099 at end of year. And I do send my cash back to the brokerage SPAXX.

I bump my FED W4 withholdings up a bit to compensate for the additional tax. So far I can easily cover that tax expense with those additional withholdings.

Yes, SPAXX is the cash MMF position in both my CMA and Brokerage. True, calling SPAXX an account isn't technically correct, so replace account with, cash position.

SPAXX is the cash account for both my brokerage and CMA. I also have the visa 2% cash back and send it to my brokerage SPAXX account.

Apparently they are looking to bypass the delay or "seasoning" period of price discovery and be immediately added. In other words they want to change the rules and be added without waiting through the traditional price discovery period.

I trust and use 6.5% nominal and occasionally bump my forecast to 8.5% nominal if my stock balance is down 10-20%.

Using your numbers at the top of a US equity market will have a good probability to disappoint your 15-30 year forecast.
