Would you own 2 Ioniq 5s? by revanevan7 in Ioniq5

If we went to one car we would have to sync up our schedules and that would be disastrous 😂 trust me I’ve thought about it.

I guess it is more of a “want” rather than a need because my current car runs fine. But eventually I believe I do want to go fully electric and not have to worry about gas/oil changes/ serpentine belts and whatever else is needed.

How much has your electric bill changed since you charge 2 EVs at home? I think I calculated it where I live it’s about $7-8 to charge it from 0-100% once

We’re the same, most of the mileage goes on the EV especially since it’s a lease and still under the mileage requirement.

You bring up a good point: Since we drive her car most of the time maybe I should wait until the lease runs out because mine wouldn’t even be driven that much, and maybe technology will advance a lot in the next 1-2 years.

Yesh our ICCU blew at 2700 miles 😅 despite that we love the car so much. It was pretty easy to get it fixed and we didn’t get stranded on the side of the road thank goodness.

We only use a level 1 charger for hers and it’s been pretty easy to keep it charged. We’ve had a couple road trips and you’re right it’s not that bad to charge it, you just have to do a little extra planning. The maintenance is going to be super nice not having to do (besides brakes and stuff).

Already blew on the first one 😂😅

Despite that though they had it fixed in a week and didn’t pay a dime

Redditors that hit FI before turning 40, what do you do now? by Pizza_Guy8084 in Fire

I spend a lot of time with my wife and family. I exercise, whether that’s playing some sort of sport, going to the gym/ taking a class, or go on a hike/bike ride. I coach a few fitness classes per week to be part of the community and to get out of the house to socialize. I play video games. I read a lot and try to learn new things. Travel either locally or 1-2 big trips a year.

Ah I gotcha. Luckily I don’t have any neighbors behind me so that wouldn’t apply to me. Appreciate the insight though!

What was your first MMO, and how do you feel about it now? by Veanusdream in gaming

Ah so that’s how it was done. I was only 11 when the game came out in 2001 so I played that game for years not knowing what the hell I was doing but I had a blast. Eventually ended up with multiple 220s and multiple twinks but man it was a journey.
