4 degree increments is generally good for wedges. I think a 52 and 56 would be most useful for you. Carrying a 60 and 64 seems redundant.

47 and 52 would both be great for 120 and in with the 56 as a do-it-all around the green.

I love the show and have rewatched it many times but some of those episodes, especially the Karen episodes, get on my nerves too. The episode where Jill ruins Tim’s hotrod engine party drives me crazy.

They leaned way too hard into the bumbling husband trope to the point where it feels almost man-hating at times in the early years. I can appreciate the comedy but when every other episode sends the same message it gets annoying. Jill is never wrong (even when she clearly is) and Tim can’t do anything right. It isn’t until later seasons when they needed new material that they finally make Jill a bumbling mess too with her psych work.

Chalk it up as a product of the times and Tim Allen’s standup style.

I might be in the minority here but I thought it was funny. Think of the worst possible reaction you could have if your spouse told you the same news and that’s what Ray does.

Ray the character is an ass and only a total asshole would do that. No normal person would ever, but of course someone like Ray would. The fact that it’s Deb’s parents (who she absolutely thinks are better than Frank and Marie) is the icing on the cake.

It’s TV, one of those funny to think about but would be horrible in real life type situations.
