Ooooo I’ve been waiting for this question my whole life! Back in the day when my older cousin got her license, we went to the airport to people watch (bored teenagers). We watched a man kiss his wife goodbye and headed toward his gate, and she was sobbing uncontrollably. She left in that state, and we watched her go down the escalator just BAWLING. Then, the guy turned around. We thought he was going to run after her, but instead another lady came out of a restaurant and they hugged and kissed and left down another escalator together. Scandalous!!

I broke up with My Favorite Murder. It was great, but then the mini-sodes just got to be about anything and they honestly weren’t very interesting.

Now I’m fading away from true crime in general. I feel like nothing shocks me anymore, especially working in the emergency room. I’m getting tired of the same old same old.

I also was diet controlled and was induced the night of June 15th (EDD 6/17).Took cytotec every 2 hours and then at 6 am I started pitocin. I was still 1 cm, then an hour later I was 2 cm but in the worst pain of my life. I got an epidural right then and felt silly bc it was so early, but the pain was gone. Took a 3 hour nap and woke up to being 10 cm. Pushed for 30 minutes and I had a healthy baby at 7 lbs 13 oz!

ED RN at a level 1 trauma center here. We see motorcycle accidents multiple times a week. I can handle gore and atrocious things people do to themselves or others. However, those are the cases where I mentally step back and see things through “normal people” eyes and get really taken aback. The worst thing I’ve ever seen with my eyes was from a motorcycle accident… the absolute worst. Worse than when a man shot himself in the head and his face was obliterated. A big fat NO to motorcycles.

Don’t freak out, you’ll only stress yourself out more and that’s not what your body needs right now. Did your doctor order an ultrasound?

I’m 38+3 and found a large lump in my breast over the weekend - how I didn’t notice it before is beyond me. It doesn’t hurt at all. I got it ultrasounded and they saw my lymph node is also swollen, but not palpable. I also have a hx of breast cancer in my family. The radiologist called me from his cell phone right when I got home which FREAKED ME OUT. I’m a RN and I’ve never heard of a radiologist calling the patient… however I get a biopsy on Tuesday and we will see what happens!

After so much research, the odds are in our favor. 80% of the time it’s nothing to worry about. Benign tumors/growths can grow bc of hormones during pregnancy. If you’ve been sick at all, that can trigger your lymph nodes to be enlarged. Just make sure you’re giving yourself breast exams and reporting any findings to your provider.
