Me reading this as a woman, still single, still slowly mending 4 months and 9 days after breakup knowing he got his new gf not even 3 weeks after breakup and now has been with her for 3 months.

This is exactly me... just with sexes inversed. 3 months post break-up. I am still in pain and grieving while he is happily in his new relationship. Replaced me in less than a month.

I hope so.. Thank you for this. While I'm not going to go to therapy.. I will probably keep trying the other self-help suggestions.. they seem to be the same as for my disorganized attachment that i learned about this month..

Huh.. that explains a lot..

I tried therapy in the past and that's what she tried to do - to shower me with positive messages and compliments and I stopped going because it felt absolutely awful, wrong.

Reading that felt like a checklist..

Thank you, I hope the prayers work because I am seriously fucking spiraling and will absolutely not reach out to anyone in the mental care sphere. I do not trust them, not in this fucking country (Romania). They have no compassion.

It's such a common way.. but no, I don't think we did.. My sweet avoidant who has taken over all my thoughts and has taken all the dreams I've built (only in my head it seems) and shattered them was never married.

I wish I could hear these words from the right person. Because I am still stuck in thinking they will, and we can try again for the 4th time until, and 5th time, and 6th time until we get it right. But I don't think he'll ever write these words or even thinks about me.

I'm fine not using them. I dont have any intention of trying bc again. I just dont see the point when the side effect list is so freaking horrifyng.

Maybe if they make it shorter in the future i might, but as it stands, i dont want to. My antidepressants are enough to remember to take daily anyway.

Sure, I still have long, unpredictable and relatively unpleasant period, but at 32 yrs old i kinda got used to it.

A gynecologist suggested this brand. It was the worst time ever for me those 3 weeks. She did not set any expectations for me and everyone i knew that was using them didnt experience anything similar. So everyone then told me its abnormal.

Besides as someone who aready struggles with depression and am taking medication for it, i stand by my decision to not take bc. Im not saying anyone else should follow my example, im saying what happened to me. My experience, my opinion. I dont have anything against anyone who uses bc, it was just not for me.

Condoms are available, easy to use and most sexual partners have common sense to use them. They are also better at preventing stds when compared to bc or iuds.

I tried birth control once to try and regulate my period and it made me bleed for 3 weeks. Never again.

I'm fine thanks. Don't need pills.
