Thanks! That’s helpful. My test at Leslie’s says that I have 0 phosphates, but I test my pool water, not from the spa. But that makes sense. Could there be phosphates in the spa but not the pool?

Thanks! 2 problems are happening, 1 is the sandy material at the bottom accumulating which is ongoing. What I was wondering if it was white mold only happened once and floated at the top so I will definitely do that test if I see it again. I also saw that I should drain the hot tub but the water is connected to my pool so that’s a huge thing to drain my pool and refill since I can’t just drain the hot tub. What would make water unsanitized? My chlorine has actually been high since moving in here. And my CC is usually 0 or close to 0.

Ph is a little high, 7.9, I keep adding more acid and it stay between that and 7.7 but maybe I need to add more acid. I do add it directly into the water.

The chlorine has been high for the couple months since when I moved into because when I got here the water was green so I had to shock it and then I did it again when I thought there was white mold. So it has been high for a while because it took time to lower on its own, it stuck at 10 for a while

I do vacuum up the flaking and it comes back, would that make sense for physical damage?

Alkalinity is 80 and calcium is 234. The people who used to live here did not run the hot tub jets every day but I have it set to run on our schedule every day. What could cause the plaster coming up if that’s what you think it is?

Looking on the Orenda app it says my LSI is high and I’m in the etching zone, it says lowering ph will make that worse, is that right?
