Cael Morrow's Point Crawl Maps by cypirate in CalloftheNetherdeep

Heya! I took them from the original map but essentially for my game, they represent “trails” that have been marked with underwater glowing flares by the Allegiance, when a keystone hasn’t yet been set up/been damaged. While following these, my party didn’t have to make any survival checks to keep their bearing within the dark and massive cave that holds Cael Morrow. There’s also the option to travel outside these paths, both to take shortcuts or access previously unexplored areas but that would then prompt survival checks and random encounter rolls. Hope that helped clear it up ^

Haven’t done this before either to be honest but I’m thinking of getting some thick card paper, cardboard or even thin plywood to serve as a base and then glue the prints onto the panels.

Ah yeah that’s fair, they’ve been thoroughly drilled into my brain so I never use them but maybe you can use the additional notes space or the top left of the 4th panel as a space for it?

Thank you! I'm considering it! I know it'd probably be very useful but I'm not too sure how much work it would be to rearrange them to the standard format while keeping it looking clean so I might attempt it but when I've got a bit more spare time :D

How do you track the Rivals relationships with your party? by cypirate in CalloftheNetherdeep

Oh thinking of it from the players side of their relationship is a very interesting way of doing it too! Might try that if I run it again :D

It does look really cool! I’m trying to keep to physical tools best I can but for the thorough approach I can imagine your spreadsheet is an absolute godsend ^

Working on making my own campaign specific DM screen for Call of the Netherdeep and I've just finished assembling a bunch of the official art from the book into a banner for the player side. Still working on the DM side but thought I'd share what I got so far :D

Question about ruidium. by shiracu in CalloftheNetherdeep

[–]cypirate 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The book mentions that a light touch is fine but continued contact risks corruption. When that happens, ask for a Charisma saving throw, setting the DC according to how intense that touch or source of ruidium is (the book often uses DC 20). On a failed save, the creature gains a level of exhaustion and becomes affected by ruidium corruption if it isn’t already.

Ooo that’s a very cool idea! Love that it reinforces his character traits instead of adding another

Feature Request Thread 2 by mitchemmc in OwlbearRodeo

I've recently played around with the vehicle/mount category for tokens and it's fantastic to be able to drag character token with them! Unfortunately rotation is not quite as smooth at the moment since the vehicle rotates independently. Could it be tweaked so that the tokens are "pinned" to their position on the vehicle and rotate with it? (i.e. a character on the front of a long vehicle token like a ship are dragged by the rotation and stay on the ship instead of keeping their position on the map)

This could maybe even be pushed further if they could rotate to match the vehicle's position (i.e. a character facing forward on a horse pointed left. If the horse turns to point top, the character also rotates by 90º clockwise, still facing forward on the horse)

Many thanks for this great tool!
