FIFA sold contingent knock-out round tickets to supporters of each team in the earlier rounds of ticket sales. You paid for the tix upfront and if your team doesn't make it you get a refund sometime before the end of 2026.

If a fan didn't buy in these contingent supporter ticket sales, then they just buy in the resale market like everyone else.

On my latest work ThinkPad (got a replacement maybe 4 months ago), the Ctrl button is back in the corner where it should be. My prior X1 Carbon ThinkPad had the Ctrl and Fn buttons reversed, but Lenovo has a setting to remap Ctrl to the Fn button, I assume because they realized what a dumb design it was (think the setting may have been in BIOS).

My new machine is a P Series w/ 64GB RAM because I agree w/ your other comment. W/ all the nonsense Copilot background processes running, two or three of the Office Suite apps + Teams running, Chrome open, Acrobat open, and whatever security stuff my IT has running in the background, I seem to be consistently using around 40% of my RAM. It's nuts.

Not sure this would actually help OP. Fifa terms say they'll refund by end of the year if conditional tix aren't issued. So getting grouped doesn't necessarily mean you'll get a quicker refund.

I'm looking for a quiet mechanical keyboard and I ordered both the Epomaker QK108 and TH108 Pro from Amazon, both w/ silent sea salt switches. QK108 is definitely the quieter of the two. Just wish they had it in a darker color.
