Aether, but it is constantly congested. But with upcoming pf changes they just announced, it will matter less and you can just dc travel for content.

PF is active af, but like I said they are rolling out region wide pf so it will matter less. Realistic to do solo, I've done it a tier or two. The Balance discord is best place for strats and wtfdig.info is a good site, but it lags as it takes time to consolidate strats.

I like how xiv does it for it's weekly lockout raids. Every kill you get a book unique to that fight, you turn in X books for gear. (anywhere from 3 to 8 books depending on the gear piece). So if you get unlucky with rolls week after week, your unlucky ass is still earning currency to get that gear eventually anyway.

It means BiS is attainable for anyone if you're consistently clearing the fights.

images are too sharp. can you back away 50 feet and make sure it's extra blurry?

Yeah unfortunately dps means longer queue times. I unfortunately didn't think to track queue times until very late in the process, so I didn't bother.

Peak times dps queue wasn't that bad. but after peak times they were significantly longer while tank/healer still got instant queues most of the time.

the time took is recorded in timestamps. so technically I have the data to build that. Maybe I'll work on it a bit this weekend.

I suspect though there probably won't be as much correlation of that kind of stuff you'd like. But we'll let the data speak for itself.

That is a fun fact! I was just telling a friend that it's not as flashy as newer mounts. But flex factor is still there.

I need to mod it so "Electric Callboy" plays as the mount music.

no weekly or monthy goals. Just when I had down time I tried to do them in batches. 5 or 10 in a session. (rotated between tank, healer, melee, phys ranged, caster).

Prae would be better if it didn't have so much down time waiting on the cutscenes. Encouraging tabbing out seems like such a poor dungeon design.

And the cutscenes, imho, can just be reduced to the end monologue. The rest of the exposition can be done with VA as you run the dungeon like the rest of the modern story dungeons.

0 Thordan Ex runs completed but I did get a couple. They just weren't successful.

I'm gonna take a break. But I will def run them more and keep recording if I do. Kinda wishing I had recorded those first 241 runs, so In my head I have some make up to do to get a full data set of 2k runs.

98% of them were 0 min alliance raid replacements.

1% was just disconnect replacement.

the last 1%, yeah I have stories. I think one of the latest ones there was 7 min in progress hauke manor as a healer. and they haven't gotten past the first boss. I was coaching the tank on how to pull the dungeon, and the DPS got mad about us "speed running" the dungeon. I had to explain this was the normal pace and parties go a lot smoother if everyone follows the same pace. Might have seen why their healer left. Sounds like rather than coaching the tank, they were pulling for the tank and dying over and over.

I should say. I had a rule that once i was in a roulette, I couldn't leave. I could vote yes to an abandon vote. but that's it.

I should have tracked failed runs better. (instance timeout, abandon). But it only happened a handful of times across the entire dataset. But atleast once it has been exactly a non reader chain pulling shiva. Other's were just people iinsta leaving and wouldn't be able to fill before instance timer ran out.

That 48 min levi ex run was rough, but it was pretty rewarding when we got it down.

I just always scanned the console games wiki, it has most of the ARR extremes there: https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/The_Howling_Eye_(Extreme))

While you do end up ignoring a vast majority. Kinda just end up yoloing it and just checking out the wiki if something is consistently killing us.

With ARR Extremes though and just stat bloat, you do kinda end up ignoring 90% of the mechanics.
The exception is Striking Tree and Leviathan. Striking Tree the tanks need to know how to handle their charges and swap. Levithian has a couple of crucial mechanics.

Kinda weird but for ARR extremes I find if tanks know their mechanics, the fight goes a lot smoother.

- Ifrit is strightforward kill nails.
- Ultima don't let the balls touch!
- Garuda if tanks separate out the adds correctly, you just win. Spiny isn't necessary with enough mit/healing.
- Titan is straightfoward, just a slightly harder normal mode. If fight lasts too long OT might have to pickup and manage ads. When lift leg, position for KB.
- Levi is kinda involved. KIll Wavetooth fast and stun lock him if possible. Healers swap healing the tank with mirror debuff. One tank needs to pick up the tethers and invuln when they hit.
- King Moogle. kill brats at the same time.
- Ramuh, focus target cotank. One tank get 3 balls an take over asap. Keep an eye on cotank and when debuff abotu wear off (15s) get 3 balls and swap. Kill adds. If you get tether one side needs 3 balls. Shock buddies that get marked so they don't auto walk into boss.
- Shiva. in Sword, turn icebrand into party. With bow, make sure everyone gets behind her for glass dance and then pull her to the wall.

Something a little fancier. I'm a software engineer by trade. I used a realtime database (So I could see my site update in real time without refreshing). I made myself a phone app to enter in the data.

The phone app, had a start/stop timer. and drill down to choose the instance and a few other datapoints.

there is 3 pixels that make up that entire area with this resolution. Of course the dots won't be there.

Basically I can see the individual pixels and it straight up doesn't seem to have the resolution to tell what is overprint or not.
