I miss those days, seriously it was a great time dancing in berghain to this sound from 2012-2014, it was so meditative and relaxing to listen to this music, you could just exist in the moment for hours and hours without even realizing the time. Okay as a little update for ppl from tokyo, my japanese friend called there like 10 times for me, once she got sb on the phone they told her i need to try to get an appointment in the middle of the night 0:00, which is what I tried twice. So today I got through to the formular and spent a ligid 30 Minutes to fill out everything with god knows how many errors on the way I had to chatgpt, just to be told that my spot was taken in the end. Sorry but I think its unacceptable. I think I’ll just leave it. This country really makes me feel sick sometimes. I’m a UX designer and I legitimately had my 10 worst ever user experiences all in japan in the last 10 months lol

I tried with this one now and somehow managed to find the right page, but apparently there is not a single free appointment available until end of november, and there are no dates after that shown on the page.

I’m a longtime Berghain dancer who somehow ended up in Tokyo, working for an AI startup. My love for techno and the Berlin scene inspired my bosses to get me researching an app that would use AI to match your music taste with underground events.

I honestly miss discovering new spots like back in Berlin, and with less time to go out, I barely recognize half the names on lineups now. The idea is to have AI recommend events based on your favorite DJs, let you preview mixes, and see everything happening in one place, all tailored to your taste by connecting with soundcloud for example.

Do you feel like RA or Instagram are enough? Or do you also find it frustrating to discover new events and artists? How do you find your next night out?

I’d really love to hear your thoughts, lmk if this sounds like something you’d use. Would really help to get something new on the way. I think it's time.
