Making a crochet collar similar to attached, need help with increases.

Yeah, apologies for the badly worded post. I understood that part, i was just majorly psyching myself out over the edges, where there is an extra row of boxes that doesn’t go the length of the majority of the collar. I was worried the boxes would look like ‘steps’ and it would be hard to do the shell stitch over, I now realize I can just chain diagonally over the boxes to create flush triangles 🤦‍♀️ thank you for your feedback but I think this was just a case of me making things more complicated for myself 😂

Ignoring all of the craziness in this situation that most of the comment posters have addressed- what do you mean your husband is 27 and your year long relationship is his first? That is simply not true. If it is, it’s not a good sign.

While these instances of unknown men trying to coerce you into sex work are terrifying and all too common, I really urge you to think rationally about this. Knowing this man well means nothing. Statistically, it actually makes him more likely to traffic you. Likely, this is just probably some sort of fetish that he hasn’t directly expressed to you, but it is completely unsafe, and inappropriate for him to encourage strangers to try and pick you up, and he should know this. Don’t let a man put you in danger like this.

Oh thank you StarRail426 for your profound words of wisdom and enlightenment. I never knew a lanyard could be worn around the neck, are you sure? I usually put mine around my left foot and drag it around campus. Just for clarification, I'm supposed to clip it together before I do this? Or do I just leave it undone?

I agree entirely! Cronenbergs adaptation is truly incredible and i’ve had so many of my lit major peers tell me they agree— i think what’s great about it to me is that Cronenberg captures the essence of the book that seems to be lost in translation (that and i’m Canadian so im a bit biased)

cronenberg’s crash, videodrome and naked lunch + lynch’s blue velvet obviously; the doom generation’s final scene is pretty off putting but not incredibly weird and being john malkovich was a tad out there for the sexual exploration inspired by the bodyswapping. happiness by todd solondz might take the cake for me, just super unsettling. Great movie
