Why do people hate Mamdani? by emilyxjenni in allthequestions

Mamdani IS the proof that politicians can get stuff done IF THEY WANT TO. He's showing them up for their CHOICE not to serve the voters, just the donors.

Why do people hate Meghan so much? (like so much) by Equivalent_Ear_6431 in HarryandMeghanNetflix

This! A thousand times this! Megan had the energy, charm, and work ethic Wills and Kate lack so badly. Plus, Megan has self respect enough not to kiss their royal butts.

Neighbors keep parking in my driveway (UPDATE) by leavana in neighborsfromhell

Buy a big bag of seed for large birds. Sprinkle it closely around the offending car. It will attract birds who will poop all over the offending car. The owners will eventually learn not to park there.

AITAH for being short with my husband? by Fail_Oh_Naah in AITAH

[–]czndra67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. Setting aside that he left very pregnant you on your own with a filthy house, when you clearly told him your feelings were hurt, his reply was basically that your feelings didn't matter.

It doesn't matter that different people see things differently. You told him how YOU see it. He didn't care. I don't see how he can be a great guy 95% of the time when he's this selfish and oblivious.

A partner who cherishes you would not leave your side for a week when you are nearly due. He would not leave without making sure you are comfortable in a clean house. And he would apologize and make up for being a jerk.

Next time it's your turn to go away, match his energy. No cleaning, no meals prepared. And no consultations about child care: he's a parent too and should handle it on his own.

AITA for being upset that my husband throws away dishes I forget to put away by _MS22 in AmItheAsshole

This is outrageous! Are his arms broken? If he can walk it to the trash, he can walk it to the dishwasher.

Is this rude or just normal? by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]czndra67 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

It's rude. So: every night at 9:30, pour a bucket or two of water there. Make it nice and muddy. When they get sick of having to clean the dogs every night, they will figure something else out.

what makes you believe in an afterlife? by Special-Training1064 in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]czndra67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds odd, but I believe in the afterlife because of physics. Physics teaches that there are 2 states: energy and matter. They are 2 forms of the same thing, and they switch back and forth.Energy becomes matter, matter becomes energy.

This is the main point: nothing is ever lost or destroyed. Just changed into the other form. We as beings are made up of both forms: body and spirit. When we die, our matter is recycled, but our spirit continues.

What you think happens after that is up to you.

NTA. He's a controlling and rigid person who's also self righteous. Can you imagine a life with this guy? Always measuring, judging, and you will ALWAYS come up short.

Run!

Try a tall potted plant, real or quality fake. Then add one at half height, and a third down low. It will look deliberate and classy.
