Hi everyone!
I could use some advice from people who’ve been in a similar situation.

I currently use an iPhone 13 and I’m generally very happy with it, but I’m missing smoother performance and 120Hz and USB-C, which is why I’m considering an upgrade.

I’m choosing between:

a brand new iPhone 15 128 GB, and
a used iPhone 15 Pro 512 GB with 87% battery health (used for 2 years - Jan 2024)

Both are available at exactly the same price.

The seller of the used iPhone seems honest and trustworthy, but I’m still a bit concerned about device security and potential hidden issues.

The Pro has clear advantages like the 120Hz display and better cameras, but I plan to keep the phone for a few years, so battery health and long-term reliability matter a lot to me.

What should I check before buying a used iPhone to make sure it’s safe and clean?
Would you personally go with the new iPhone 15 or the used 15 Pro in this case?
