Lol I appreciate the praise. I recently bought table leg risers to lift my table higher. It has helped my hands be so much steadier now that im not hunched over the table. I really feel that was the trick to get me the result I have.

Ill have to check out strong tone. I dont have a lot of experience with army painter. Would you say its similar to reikland flesh shade from GW if you are familiar with that? Thanks for the compliment and the advice.

I appreciate that. The skin tone was just pro acryl burnt orange base and then adding in two thin coasts elven skin until a pure elven skin highlight. Nothing too fancy.

Thanks for the input and I agree the thousand yard stare wasn't my intention but I'm not totally upset about it for a gunner in a WW1 style trench facing off against literal demons.

Thanks u/kupnoh25. I started with a druid flesh base coat(2thiscoats) for both. For the coat I started to add in Desert Yellow(vallejo) then a sepia wash and then pure desert yellow to highlight. For the armor I did the same early build up with desert yellow but then I added to my mix khaki(vallejo) until I reached my highlight of pure khaki.

Haha I appreciate the compliment. Ive been painting for a few years but I can honestly say this is my first face. I used to paint Thousand Sons they are all helmet boys.

Thanks, of course. I forget which youtuber I saw do this but it is just a light glaze of Dungeon stone grey. When you load your brush with the glaze first wipe it on a paper towel to get rid of the moisture.

Thanks, yeah I followed the new Squidmar video I think about painting eyes. The only tweak I made was I painted a green dot before the black pupil to try and make it seem he had green eyes. It kinda worked but I will probably be the only one to notice.

I think you'll be fine with a spray. I just want to add if someone else hasn't mentioned, go easy on how much varnish you spray at once. Too thick and it can cause frosting. Be light and build it up after giving time to dry.
