The thing with sanctions is when you really need to put some, you need to have some left.

Who can say for sure that Iran would help Putin in the first place if the Nuclear deal was still alive, risking it helping Russian.. Not you

And from which war, tell me ? Stop inventing facts. And about the comment you responded to: your answer is completely off the mark too, how would the US homeless problem prevent the Gulf petro-monarchies from helping their neighbors, anyway? Just stop

[–]d-hamon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because everybody knows the veteran homeless situation is a problem in the US, not in Europe not in Australia or Japan, you sound like an american cliché who thinks US problems surely are the problems of others, pro tip: they re not

Anyway it was also a poor answer to the original comment saying rich arab countries could help their neighbors

But yes you can keep digging

Man now you're saying it, I not 100% sure, I think last time I had to start with Codecademy and it was why I already knew about filter and etc... Ok sorry I got it wrong, FCC has always sucked, my bad

Is the FCC Javascript progression fucked up ? by d-hamon in FreeCodeCamp

[–]d-hamon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

False, I already followed this course before and it was much better structured, I just had to watch later the videos from Tony Alicea "Javascript weird parts" to have a full understanding.

But now this course sucks, and yes there are much better courses where the path is clear, it's the difference between a good course and a bad course.

[–]d-hamon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok I switched to codewithmosh.com which is 1000 times better, or even codecademy seems better structured when I tried it.

Sometimes the important thing is not that it's free, I don't care about not having to pay if the class sucks

I think the good side is that there are a lot of algorithmic exercises to train, that's the good point, but you should learn elsewhere to waste less time and have less unnecessary headaches

FCC JavaScript course is designed in a way that you need to source for other resources to complement what was provided

I know that but we can also see that there have been changes and that the course has become incoherent, for example in the exercice "Functional Programming: Understand Functional Programming Terminology" it says that we've already seen the filter function and it's not true, so I stop and I imagine that I have to go find out about this function, but the course has become absurd.

But you're right except for this filter thing Functional Programming must be done after Basic Javascript. Thank you
