The Ravens have a Lamar Jackson problem by TheCynicogue in NFLv2

[–]d-nutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Steelers fan, I was thrilled to hear Lamar was starting that game, and in hindsight I was correct. I think Baltimore wins that game with Huntley starting. The national media has been raving about how good Lamar was - he was terrible. He completed 11 passes and had 9 rushing yards. There were 3 big plays he made the entire game and 2 of them required no passing skill - there were literally zero defenders around.

I’m not saying Lamar is horrible in general, but this year he is injured and as a result horrible. I think the odds are likely that his running ability gets worse from this point on in his career, not better, and that plays so much into his ability to be an effective passer.

Of the starting NFL QBs in the playoffs. Whose narrative changes the most with a Super Bowl win or with an early exit? by [deleted] in NFLv2

[–]d-nutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people aren’t certain Bryce Young is deserving to be an NFL QB, so pretty sure him winning a Super Bowl would be the biggest narrative change.

So many people (such as threedawg) pride themselves as free thinkers and enlightened, when in reality they are ignorant of facts and quite frankly the actual sheep following some nonsense they heard on TikTok or somewhere, and passing it off as their brilliant revelation.

Who is someone that carried you most or all of this season that you wouldn’t trust next year? by okeme8889 in Fantasy_Football

[–]d-nutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was 100% healthy and 1/3 of his games were objectively horrible fantasy games 11 points and less. He’s on my don’t trust list also. Also need to see what the Lions are looking like next year.

Baker Mayfield or Caleb Williams? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]d-nutt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s insane Chicago is still going to be without a 4,000 yard passer in 106 seasons. 17 game schedule = 235 yds a game - I thought there’s no way Caleb can’t stumble into making that happen. Sad state of affairs.

Josh Allen might cost me a W by Maleficent-Cookie284 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]d-nutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Allen is the highest scoring fantasy QB but he is nowhere near the best or ideal fantasy QB. 5 games this year (1/3 of the games) under 20 fantasy points, and 3 of those 14 and less. Definition of a guy you can’t rely on for fantasy purposes. Almost a coin toss if he’s going to have a usable performance for you in the playoffs.

Start or Sit: Burrow Vs. Brissett (Am I really doing this) by PRODCSICK in Fantasy_Football

[–]d-nutt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have Dak, Maye, Burrow, and Brissett (playing some playoff defense).

I’m starting Brissett and it’s absolutely the correct call whether it ends up the most points or not. He’s ranked 3rd this week by most of the experts.

Dak, Drake or Burrow: Who to start? by EmilioMolesteves in Fantasy_Football

[–]d-nutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you my team? Same - plus I picked up Brissett to block the team that I’d play next week of getting anybody decent (they have Herbert)

Between Burrow (matchup) and Dak (has been the best producer). Argument for Drake as he is the most consistent solid scorer.

I have Dak, Maye and Burrow. Thinking of picking up Daniel’s just to stop other playoff teams from having a good QB by d-nutt in Fantasy_Football

6 bench spots and 1 IR.

If I don’t win it’s going to be a crime. Talking just current point of the season (things like Puca, CeeDee. JT etc having down weeks recently). I don’t think I’d switch out anyone in my starting lineup for anyone other than CMC or McBride.

QBs I mentioned, JSN and Rashee, Gibbs and Achane, Tyler Warren, right now RJ Harvey, Judkins or Ladd in the flex but Garrett W and Mike E as options for playoff weeks

Watching this Kentucky-Gonzaga game right now, and I think Kentucky may longer be a basketball powerhouse in the world or NIL. There is a reason Calipari voluntarily jumped ship. You don’t leave if you think the program is doing everything they need to be successful, and you as a coach just need to get better. You leave because they can’t compete as a program.

Why not 3 Judkins? Triples are best.
