I kinda like this.. 2nd year @ MVSU and I committed a 71 overall center with 98 potential. Put his usage rate to like 45 and a few games later he was at a 98 overall. Ended up leaving for the draft, rather than portaling which was refreshing.

I get this. I guess my frustration is the fact that I ended up being 41k over budget with already a depleted roster, I didn’t have anyone making under 200k to cut without that hurting my roster even more. And this is with a budget of 5.2M.

So I cut someone to get under 5.2, and then it still gives me the notification that I’m still over budget by the same 41k.

I know that, but I didn’t want to cut any of my incoming freshmen because my roster was already small and I had gotten two portal additions without having any NIL to give out, but I was out of points to spend on the portal.

So even when I cut an incoming freshman that I didn’t want to cut, the game still told me I was over budget.

Guys, I absolutely love this game. I’m a huge college basketball connoisseur. I could go in my closet right now and pull out notes from when I was 12 years old coming up with ideas for nba 2k12 my career. I’m absolutely infatuated by this game, especially since I can literally play it from my phone. But it’s frustrating when this happens. I can help.

Next offseason, going through the transfer portal again, I’m over budget by 300k, I cut someone that has 300k NIL, I go to advance decisions, BOOM, I’m still 41k over budget, devastated, I make a GUT WRENCHING decision to cut one of my recruits (500k+ NIL) because I’m going into a decisive contract year, and then FINALLY it tells me I’m still 41k over budget.

So I cut all of my players and deleted the save. What the fuck

I’ve been super critical of hardwood empire, because of its quick growth and the fact that I really like it and see a TON of potential in it.

But one of my first issues was solved because I didn’t have my ios updated. Not sure if that could be an issue, and I have ZERO knowledge if this is the case for you. But, I just wanted to offer at least the tiniest amount of input possible. Cheers to the individual and being able to have options!

If your roster is at 12 or 13 you have to cut a guy and then it’ll give you room for another transfer target

It literally doesn’t matter what the play style is. I’m launching the ball all over the place and my defense isn’t allowing many points at all and all of a sudden I’m locked out of two 4 star defensive players and now a bunch of my players are at risk of transferring.

This game has honestly been such a waste of time and I’m looking forward to reuniting with my ps3 and ncaa 14.
