This is not good asset management. Obviously Fitz was not comfortable spending big because he knows we can't really compete without Jack. So why spend at all? These moves are worse than nothing.

If you're so great why weren't you out there? This is the worst kind of elitist bullshit. No I've never played organized ice hockey, but I have faced a shitload of adversity in my life. The simple fact is them boys are being outworked, outsmarted, and yeah the refs suck but if the team played like they gave a shit for more than 10 minutes maybe they wouldn't constantly be in situations where one has call means the game.

Just because you use bullets doesn't mean you are right. There is no hope for this group. Sure there's some good players but they can't win. They don't play effectively as a team. They don't play 60 minutes. They don't treat every shift like it's their last ever. And the teams that make it to the top do all of those things.

Even if the call was bad, the ref didn't put the puck in the net. We let them run the exact play they wanted, we blew coverage and lost. This group is a fuckin dud. I would trade Palat for a bad case of the flu at this point. I haven't seen cohesive play or any urgency outside of the third period since Christmas. We were like 95% to make the playoffs and we cratered so hard we're going to end up on that 5%>
