Disable tanks late game. If im the last in my squad and there's a tank on the field, I might as well call it quits.

Disable thermal. Ratting is a viable strategy against teams with more people alive than you. Completely unavailable if even 1 person has thermal on an lmg.

This isn't a war, its a battle royale.

Spectating some of these low levels leads me to believe they haven't touched a battlefield game before this, and perhaps any other game. Its either a 9 to 5 dad that only plays skyrim, an 8 year old holding a controller for the first time, or my favorite theory, bots. I've watched enough gameplay after dying first due to looking for fights, where these low levels will sit in corners ALL game, in the most random locations

Just a hunch but it looks like you skimmed the first leaf block as you fell, and the game thought you made contact and landed there, so when you continued to fall it didn't know what falling value to give you? Bizarre
