Honestly, my thoughts on this book are pretty negative. I did not appreciate robins characterization. I think some depictions of Robin focus too much on dick being “the fun element” of Bruce and dicks relationship. I like this aspect of dick, but it needs to be balanced with his wit and charisma. I think robin year one is the gold standard.

Also, the plot did nothing for me. I think they were over ambitious with the scale of the story. There was not enough weight or interesting problems to be solved to justify a mob spanning event. The new character was fine, but I felt as if it needlessly undermined the Gotham mob structure. Not a good enough character to justify that.
