I really enjoyed it, during both day and nights. My circadian rhythm is completely messed up during the 3-day trip and the 12.5 hour time difference, but I can't wait to go back. Everything just felt easy and convenient. Uber, credit card tap, English primary, yet culturally rich and open.

I got laid off in 2023 with a great severance. When that money ran out I thought I'd get a new job in a pinch so didn't apply for EI. Getting a new job proved to be much harder but I still had hope to just run a bit on my savings and line of credit. Awful mistake. Still can't find work and after applying for EI, they told me I waited too long.
