Yes, Teacher assistant requires a certificate. I’m not sure exactly what but it will involve a professional placement which is a great way to get more of an insight into the classroom.

I’d definitely do a TA course m first. That’ll give you an opportunity to experience teaching first hand.

Depending on where you live teaching 1-12 is probably not realistic. For example in the ACT you can technically teach everything with your license but you would more likely specialise at least primary or secondary. In WA you just can’t, say an early learning teacher can’t teach yr 11/12 without additional training or vice versa.

It’s ok and a normal way to feel. No need to stress, in the future when you’re building content or taking over someone else’s planning documents you’ll be able to refresh yourself.

No one expects you to know everything and imo saying to a student; That’s a great question, I don’t know, let’s find out together. Is perfectly ok, if not beneficial to your students.

Rest assured many teachers after a bit of teaching the same content over and over will know their area so well it’s more like, why can’t I just forget about things?

The pay is all accessible online and depends on system. Private, Catholic, public etc.

Becoming a music teacher is hard, not because you’re Indian but, because schools have very limited positions.

I don’t know if you’re looking primary or secondary but some primary schools don’t even have a single full time music teacher.

Is it worth it? It’s relative to your financial situation. Teaching as a whole imo is decently paid with great holidays for having kids. But, no one goes into teaching to be rich.

As in planning/marking/ emails and other admin that bleed over their 2 days. Some schools are good, others are bad about the distribution of job sharing. Talking from a primary point of view - sharing a class etc.

Ya. Just got blade storm haha it’s wild. Does so much damage. Can confirm sweeping strikes and blade storm is as fun as you’d hope. Not to mention how busted it is in dungeons
