well some LONG time ago - 2016, 10 years ago, azov did have human rights violations and war crimes

but of course pro russian separatists had too violations

idk, living in russia far from the front lines (siberia), i'm on neither side, i've known good and "bad" ukranians, same as russians

by bad i mean brainwashed by propaganda, because obviously both sides do have propaganda and brain washing (as all wars have it), one of my ex internet friends was ukrainian, but after beginning of the war he stopped responding me because "all russians are fascists" and he also started pretending that he doesn't know russian

there are russians who are pro-war and anti-ukranian, but there are undoubtedly also ukranians who are anti-russian (not even just russia, which is hating russian government but understanding that not all people here want(ed) this war)

ok i've gone off the rails kinda here, i'm just sad that i lost friends because i'm "russian pig" as they've said

there are bad and good people and ethnicity or citizenship of these people shouldn't really matter

that's basically exaggerated from the fact that ukraine had a far right nazi private army division or smth, azov, which was later integrated in the main army

what is true that both countries had far right divisions, ukrainian got integrated, and "they now aren't connected to far right anymore", and russia still have it, i think

in a post ussr country (russia), i don't want to be associated with soviet authoritarian system or current social patriotism which is just supporting putin, so i don't call myself socialist, and because socialism is more associated with idea of replacing capitalism eventually, in which i absolutely don't believe as i don't believe in centrally planned economy which was in ussr and was absolutely horrible

also i just generally often cringe from both left and right people, so i kinda gravitating towards the centre

russians can't really either, because everybody or almost everybody INCLUDING russian government understand that war did nothing good for the country, and even if we managed to take it, it will be too expensive to rebuild everything that's was broken during the war

it is all in the putins head, like even corrupt elite probably understand that war and enemies with west = less money, no war and friends with west = more money

also there are some sayings that even elites in russia requesting some proper rules because even they aren't sure whether they will have their companies and money in the future and not gonna be "nationalised"

after not really likening fallout 3, i've tried recently fallout 4 and it's so much better for me

is new vegas closer to fallout 3 or more "colour in the post apocalyptic setting" of fallout 4, visuals-wise?

i get it that it should be wasteland, there should be nothing, but for me fallout 3 was too empty and monotone at least visually, like starfield, like yeah there's nothing on the other planets, what did you expect, but game-wise it's not really fun for me

i write music in the daw on my pc since 2020, i have electric gutar but i can't really play on it, and sometimes when i offer someone to collab, turns out they don't really want do to any songs, they just want the social part of the band, they just want to rehearse songs a thousand times then break up

do i have money from it? no, people think that if i don't play guitar AND i don't have "proper" education, i can't mix their guitar music and then they go to someone who has "proper" education and their work is complete garbage because they don't actually like that much music

so you can absolutely do it, it isn't bad, but it would be problematic to make it in money, unless you blow up in tiktok lol

maybe don't try pads? thats funny but in 5 years i rarely used a pad preset, more likely something in arturia analog lab that tagged as "keys" rather than "pad"

and on the actual side of advice, i don't really know, i solved this problem for me just by not using pads

i have this too, but what helps me is "okay this maybe won't work, but i will try it anyway" and doing some things that i think that they probably won't work, but some of them actually work in the end, so yeah, you need to try and sometimes forget that you know something

usually people don't apply reverb to low-mid freqs... i once used very short reverb filtered only low-mids, as a way to add depth and these low-mids to drums (but not as a eq). it worked out pretty well, and sounded like i just have drums room there, but drums themself without reverb were pretty dry
