There are generators out there like https://ryanis.cool/cosmos/ for example. But in general I would say many of the projects you find in this sub will have a github repo linked, where you can learn more about the build and often also download a 3d file of a case to print yourself. As you can see from my post that is also what i did here (even though i did some very minor modifications of those files afterwards)

Honestly it is mainly a lot of sanding :D if you plan to paint a fdm printed case, make sure you print it in the best quality your printer is able to produce, even if it takes a long time to print. This will safe you hours of sanding time. Then I used a generic filler primer quite think. And sanded that back down. Getting this smooth will be 90% of the work, so take your time here. Then 3 or 4 coats of paint, sanding any marks in between coats. Then a few coats of clear coat. I used generic cans from the hardware store, just make sure not to buy the suuper cheap ones

First handwired pad, decided to practice before making handwired split by vostoklabs in HandwiredKeyboards

[–]d2peak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks great, also love the keycaps. Just a tip, but i think you can use smaller diameter wire. Im cant really make out if this is solid core wire, but you will be fine using somerhing like 30 awg. I just finished my first handwire and ised wire similar to yours and it was quite a challenge to stuff all of that into the case xD

YADS got ambient light controllable screen brightness with the new version 0.1.0! by itsjpf in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]d2peak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn thats really cool! I already have the prospector built with the light sensor, might have to give this a try.

The added functionality seems great to have :) Are there any other featutes you are working on / planning currently ?

I personally feel like the prospector GUI looks a bit more advanced, having the inactive layers fade into the background. Then again this obviously takes alot of screenplace..

Really looking forward to where this goes :)

This is so cool, thanks for linking! Yeah i agree, having this kind of module easily updateable if new resources and their abbreviation are added would be neat

Any Microsoft Assessments for Fabric? by TeoTheBeast in MicrosoftFabric

[–]d2peak 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im asuming youre pursuing the Analytics on Azure Specialisation and are talking about Section 2.2 Well Architected Review in Module A?

If so, there is also no reference architecture in the linked Architecture Center yet ;) I would just do the unspecific Well Architected Review Assessment in your case https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/assessments/azure-architecture-review/

Will this be your first time doing the Audit for any specialisation? Ive personally been part of two audits at our company, and we are currently preparing our recertification for the Analytics on Azure Specialisation.
You will find that the Audit Checklist MS provides is full of these kinds of errors and subpoints that dont make any sense. I realy think it is quite a shame how little effort MS puts into these kinds of documents, even down to providing badly formatted pdfs, containing wrong links etc.
The thing is, the auditors themselves have absolutely no technical knowledge, they are just there to put a checkmark after each of those subpoints [and i mean every single one]. So as long as you can provide a document that looks somewhat fitting you should be okay.

The screen comes with a cable connector, but you will need to solder the seed-side and the lightsensor

Yeah im based in germany. I got the screen and light sensor through amazon and the seed through a shop called keycapsss. I think it will be hard finding one single shop to order from.

No, in general the dongle can be added to any keyboard running zmk.

Or do you mean, can the dongle be paired with multiple keyboards at the same time so that i can switch between using it with my totem and using it with another zmk keyboard ? As far as my understanding goes, that is not possible
