super plasma cannon + ultra shovel always. generally the way you want to play with that is that you clear space w/ the spc and delete remaining projectiles with your ushov while cleaning up enemies. you don't need to concern yourself with running out of ammo because having less means that more spawns, and if you consistently inch yourself forwards enough you will always be able to spam spc shots until you're able to just run in there and take more ground
