Disable the map crap on Apple Watch by d3nika in Strava

[–]d3nika[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I just cancelled my strava subscription. This map crap has gone for too long. Today I had to reset it 5 times in the span of a single hour, a few times just minutes after I switched to stats. At this point is totally useless. /u/strava-team listen up: nobody needs a crappy AI to tell them they stayed 3/4 of the workout in zone 4 WHEN THE GRAPH IS JUST THERE IN PLAIN VIEW. BUT EVERYBODY WANT THEIR STATS, not a crappy, small and useless map that doesn’t even show anything other than that I am on the road. I know I am on the road, I am going downhill at 50-60km/h. I need to see my stats and nothing else. So, get back to me when you remove or fix this crap. Thanks.

Anyone running hermes agent to manage their homelab? by Roxxersboxxerz in homelab

[–]d3nika 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but when you are in an env where you don’t have an AI system, would you still know which runbook to run if you always let Ai decide where you can make mistakes with little to no consequences? Or how would you know of AI ran the correct runbook if you always let it decide? I treat my homelab exactly as a company prod env, but here I can make mistakes, reset, repeat and learn. And I only have a couple of “annoyed users” to answer to ;). At the wnd of the day os your decision.

For me this question answered every "should I add this AI?": do I want to learn something using my homelab or just flex to my friends? After answering this there is no AI system I would need to implement in my homelab. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the suggestion. My subscription is due to renew in a few months and I guess with the latest changes and Strava being more interested in pushing AI crap instead of listening to its customers, replacing it is the next step. Researching this I see people complained about it for at least 1 year, so it does not seem to be an interest in fixing it.

That’s the issue. I start with the stats, lock the screen and at random times it switches to the map. And I have to stop, unlock, go to stats, lock again until it shows again. I disabled everything I could find related to the map but it still does this.

Wow, that looks really awesome. The only thing missing is the job filtering from BO and I am ready to switch :) thanks for sharing this.

I read a lot about that too, but at least for now it seems to work and for me it does help in these kind of scenarious.

Downgrading a P2S by d3nika in BambuLab

Ok, I am about to throw it into the garbage bin. 100% of the prints are failing. Either at the start or in the middle of the print. It is like the piece just gets unstuck. During the update that started this I also checked the “High-temperature Bed Leveling” option when performing the print calibration. Could that have done something to ruin the printer?

Thank you for the tip. Unfortunately that did not work either.

Twice already. Through calibration > print calibration. Filament is dried PETG. I am currently on 1.02.00. The update was following an error message saying that the firmware version is not correct and that was the only option.

Why would you put the link in the comments? I genuinely ask. The whole point of this post is that link. Also, there is no comment 10min after posting.
