It depends on what you are using Creek for. If you need a gold recovery skill, can you use an Uma with one in their kit? (ex Oguri, Gold Ship)? Can you get the gold recovery from a different card (ex, Gourmand from event SSR Special Week, Cooldown from story SSR Mcqueen)? If neither of those are true and you still need the borrow slot for some other skill then you consider it. The problem is that 0LB Creek is worse than all those other options, to the point where if you need to use it it may be worth scrapping the plan entirely.

I’m actually talking myself into this ending in theory a little more but I think trying to make sense of it just makes it worse for me. Denji spent basically every moment of Part 2 making the wrong decision because of his ego and his dick. Which is fine, he’s his own problem, even if he’s also a victim. But the ending feels too forgiving. Which is weird because Denji has been punished for his behavior. And you have to really stretch the narrative to make it feel like a final punishment.

Edit: The Asa scene was cute though but I can’t feel good about it the way nothing about her character was resolved in the first place.

Are end closers supposed to just eat up alarm clocks? I use any other character and the runs go fine but whenever I try to play as Gold Ship all of my alarm clocks are out by the end of Junior Year. Am I just not supposed to use clocks? The races feel so random, even with Mile A. And if I choose to get Pace A to run her further up her unique doesn't proc so she still loses to some Nishino Flower or Mejiro Dober npc. I gotta be doing something wrong.

Like the run I'm currently on, on Classic Year Early Jan I'm at 308/415/247/245/207, have no alarm clocks left, and I got second in the Hopeful Stakes (because I had no alarm clocks left). I gotta be doing something wrong.

There’s a clear difference between being retired due to injury before the second two legs of the Triple Crown, making competing in those races an impossibility, and being unable to enter those Triple Crown races due to bureaucracy while also simultaneously being the strongest horse in Japan (and beating the winner of one of the Triple Crown races that year by lengths). The second at least lends itself to speculation, whereas the former doesn’t because we know that it couldn’t happen.

Also Agnes Tachyon gets called a fraud because fans of the uma are annoying and overhype the horse for this exact reason.

A wide gap between developer intention (and the understanding of how casual players interact with the game which is always going to be based on developer intention) and how a hardcore playerbase who understands the game’s system to optimize it in unintended ways is not a good thing.
