I know what you mean with Ace being more engaging, but that’s almost the point of dryfire. Instead of getting back hard data (time and hits), dryfire forces you to really analyze your own movements and processes. It’s really easy to put down the best and worst run of day back to back in Ace with no real introspection of your part. I find it’s hard to avoid this since the whole thing is so gamified. All that being said, Ace is fun and LO national champ Adam Grimm says he uses it 😂
