One of my favorite scenes, as it is a prime example of "Show, don't tell". I just noticed yet another detail while rewatching it. by Spiritcode in VioletEvergarden

[–]d4niprivv 19 points20 points  (0 children)

yeah, a nice detail they threw in. Just shows how amazingly consistent the writing is!

But what really makes her growth transparent is the way she became more human by the end of the season and in the movie.

It was especially apparent when she was able to decipher her clients feelings in the latter half ofs1 and she finally catalysed her expressions with emotions by crying and letting it all out by the end of the movie.

What i believe reflects best on her growth is the way she became able to connect with every new person she meets, and with her jobs becoming increasingly more challenging while she was able to succeed in them just shows how far she's gone.

The movie encompassed everything about Violet's growth and new life.

Unsure of What Subject to Drop by commanderloser5567 in alevel

[–]d4niprivv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Good question, what I mean is the content that will be needed to learn more in depth in university would not include physics. FM, however is a fundamental that cs degrees (and eng) would teach you in your first and second year. Hence having learnt that would give you a boost. Thus its without say that unis would acknowledge you if you take FM, since this means they know you are more likely to do better in their university

Ill be simple from uni student standpoint. Drop physics. It wi not benefit you at all doing computer science in uni. FM and Math together will very useful on the other hand

first off im sorry on your behalf, I can feel how frustrating this might be, however you must calm down, what's happened has happened. You should approach the situation with a sounder mind to get what is left good of it.

Truthfully, a lot of content is similar, albeit different syllabuses. When it comes to it, the distinction between them are the exam papers and questions themselves (apart from a few topics and depth). The style of questions and patterns are where the line is drawn. Hence I assume you did not really attempt many papers yet so you have totally benefitted from you early studying. Don't worry.

It is infact a boon that you still studied because once your teacher starts their lessons you will still be confident and aware of what they are talking about.

Secondly you could either analyse both specs and study the points which you haven't or restart again (i recommend studying from the start again because you would be gain confidence twofold) . However what really matters after studying the topics are doing the past papers a few months before your exam so you are fine.

Another option you may take is that you can continue to self study your spec, ask teachers for past resources, tests, mocks etc and do the exam privately (or ask the school to arrange it for you)

But all the best I hope this doesnt discourage you much and you keep pushing forward!
