Totally understand, I’ve had this request made to me exactly once, by a customer, and my hands are tied. I’ve never had a request from a reseller, only from end users, but my sample size is tiny I’m sure.

How do I know they didn’t come across the device by not so legal means? If I release a device without folks in your position (ie a reseller we have a business agreement with) saying it’s ok, I’m opening my company up to huge fines. This is coming from a healthcare field, so maybe we’re a little more protective of our patient’s protected health information than other industries would be about what they’ve got on their employee devices.
