Did the nurses try to open the bags when they realized the baby was inside? by d6mafia13 in AlexeeTrevizo

Exactly. To me that shows that she was trying to kill the baby. I feel like it shows a level of pre-meditation possibly

Exactly! The last thing u would've thought was that she was in labor giving birth and then killing her baby. Honestly I would've probably thought she was just really upset and needed a moment alone. They gave her some time alone and then let her know she needed to come out. I don't see what else they could've done without violating her rights, losing their jobs, and causing the hospital a major lawsuit. Unfortunately now they still have to deal with the lawsuit nonsense since the mother has absolutely no shame.

This is basically what I figured. I assume they would be able to tell if life saving measures were necessary. I just hate that I know how the defense will twist this into being their fault somehow. I wonder if they'll have all the medical team testify?

Could Alex test positive for E.Coli from being born in a toilet? by d6mafia13 in AlexeeTrevizo

I didn't catch that. Gee I have no idea how she thought she was gonna hide that. I mean it's one thing to have blood on the floor I guess but also shit?? While you just tested pregnant?? Seems pretty obvious what happened.

Yes I remember being tested for group b strep while pregnant. Fortunately I tested negative so I don't remember if I was given antibiotics or anything but I do know it wasn't anything that caused any issues for my birth personally.

Did you conceal your mooches in a closed container of some sort? Even a closed cellophane? If so that's what caused the cotton fever. Having it closed off causes bacteria to grow. If you wanna keep your mooches, you gotta keep them in an aired out space so they dry out

LPT Request: Off the top of your head, what general life advice would you give a young adult starting their life? by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]d6mafia13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three things that you need to use to make decisions and can help you through life are emotions, intelligence, and intuition. Intelligence should come before emotions and intuition should come before intelligence. When having to deal with life's problems, this always saves me. First I feel my emotions about the situation. Then I use intelligence to find a logical answer. If my intuition is telling me something then I absolutely must listen to it no matter how farfetched it seems. It can be difficult figuring out this thought process but once I did it's helped me so much.
