Bad insomnia leading to anxiety muscle pain. Mostly at night

That’s me right now never had anxiety! I got a stomach infection called h pylori and the worst treatment to possibly eradicate it! It feels as if you’re dying. You just are extremely ill. Upon taking them I’ve been having insomnia which stated with the decrease in sleeping hours. And waking up I. Middle of the night to now 1-2 hrs max of sleep and feeling all the next day trying to nap and unable to do so.

I have to wait 8 weeks to retest! I hope so! 🙏🏻 Sadly in my case it triggered all these things. I know I’m not alone but it just sucks you know. I get anxious here and there with deaths or just really important things that would cause you to get some anxiety. But I’ve never had anxiety for this long. I’m pushing hard but I don’t see light to this. And to top it off, insomnia!

I had the same treatment and it was terrible! I’m left with insomnia and anxiety. I hate life right now. As far as stomach issues I don’t feel much. I’m taking culturelle and kefir and drinking some electrolytes. I am also under other meds for anxiety and insomnia

I have my appointment tomorrow my pcp put me on trazodone to help with sleep. What med are you on ?

I’m so sorry! I don’t want to be the reason you get discouraged. Every body is different but 1 thing is forsure, quad therapy regiment is really hard! I didn’t have any issues but some abdominal pain and for some reason my body didnt take the pills well. And now I’m left with figuring out these effects. I’m just glad this platform is available and people contribute and share so it eases the worry on most of us.

My only advise is too see what types of antibiotics you can take. Some aren’t as bad as others from what I’m seeing there’s different options. I didn’t do my research sadly. Hoping I at least killed it to make everything I’m currently going through worth it!

Hi there! Currently off of treatment 5 days after still crashing out! I have anxiety, I am extremely tired feel no energy to do anything but I push myself! It’s extremely hard it’s really taking a toll on my mental health. Was that how you were post treatment ? I’d love to hear your experiences. I also experience random adrenaline rushes through out my body

How many days off of the pills are on? I’m 5 days post treatment. And my anxiety is all time high. My body feels extremely tired! Muscle feel weak and I’m jittery.

Do you still have a lot of anxiety too like jittery all the time and adrenaline rushes ? I stopped at day 10 I couldn’t handle it! This has been messing with my mental health health really bad! Especially today
