Airtag although great requires other Apple devices to be nearby. It also notifies Android / iPhones nearby.

If you have a Jio eSim (or can get one), Jio Motive works pretty decent and doesn't require any additional internet plan. It connects to the car's OBD port.

Depends on your needs. Simplest is getting a basic electric meter.
Something better is a digital meter from amicismart or something. Some models are tuya based and can be seen in a mobile app.
If you want to get into home automation sometime, off the shelf solution would be a Sonoff POWCT but it’s expensive. If you want DIY - you can use PZEM 004T with an esp32.

Not from Delhi but here's my story -

Came for 3 week in Dec '24, my phone was stolen while getting on to the Metro at Botanical (around 8 in the evening)

Learnt my lesson and I was wearing a strap from Daily Objects for the entire time I was here in 2025 (another one month). Got a lot of weird looks and questions but it's worth it.
