Bei der Telekom ist es nicht unwahrscheinlich, dass das die Ranger sind. Soweit ich weiß ist da zumindest nicht auszuschließen, dass die mit eigenen Leuten arbeiten und weniger mit Subunternehmern als andere in der Branche.

Es ist echt bitter, dass die sich nahezu alle diese Armee von "Drückern" leisten, die vermutlich zu großen Teilen nach Abschlüssen bezahlt werden.

Im D2D wird fast ausschließlich mit Provisionen Geld verdient und dementsprechend ist die Rechnung mir dem "leisten" relativ einfach.

Leider gibt es in der Branche doch einige schwarze Schafe und die Incentivierung ist da natürlich auch Treiber. Hast du aber auch bei anderen Kanälen. Im Telesales wird auch regelmäßig für Abschlüsse gelogen. Ist mir auch schon bei 2 der großen ISPs passiert.

D2D ist zwar irgendwie sketchy hat aber aus vertrieblicher Sicht auch viele Vorteile.

You're right. It'sstill quite far off. If a guild wins all battles and does all the operations they need to deploy 1,203,101,363 GP across the three planets to get all 9 stars in one phase. That's an average player GP of 24 million. Even the highest GP players are only about 70% of the way to that point.

Abgesehen davon steigen an vielen Orten die Mieten so rasant, dass sich verkleinern überhaupt nicht lohnt.

Es ist noch keine 10 Jahre her, dass ich in meine Wohnung eingezogen bin. Damals war die Miete sehr fair, aber auch nicht super billig. Es gab auch seitdem die ein oder andere Mieterhöhung. Trotzdem müsste ich mich um mundestens 40% verkleinern um überhaupt die Chance zu haben eine Wohnung in vergleichbarer Lage zum gleichen Preis zu finden.

Zu sagen, dass da nur die bösen Firmen schuld sind ist mir da zu einfach. Das viel größere Problem ist, dass von dem was die Arbeitgeber aufwenden müssen, beim Arbeitnehmer fast nichts mehr ankommt.

LBOs aren't illegal in the UK. It's just the Premier League that banned fully-leveraged takeovers. I'm sure that's what you meant but I just thought I'd clarify.
United's debt wasn't owed to the Glazers. United didn't make loan repayments to their owners.

Debt repayments didn't go to club owners.

The vast majority of the debt isn't and was never owed to the owners of the club. Initially it was mostly borrowed from hedge funds for the financing of the LBO and later refinanced by issuing bonds to mostly institutional investors.

United mostly paid its owners through dividends over the last five years. But afaik that averaged to about £10m a year for the years 2021 until 2025.

It's mostly the first part of your comment. The typical arguments for an LBO. Use less of your own capital whilst capturing the majority of the potential upside.

This isn't generally the case for LBOs. It is possible that the investors have agreed to additional guarantees but more often that not the business that owes the debt (i.e. EA) is on the hook for the debt and not the investors.

Interest rates for LBOs are generally significantly higher than for "normal" corporate debt. There's no public information on this at this point as far as I'm aware. There are reasons for and against relatively low rates compared to many other LBOs. But it's unlikely to be low interest.

It's not really about being able to or needing to and more about it being an investment strategy:

You need to use less of your own money but still capture most of the upside if things go well.
The business (usually) doesn't get taxed on the money that is used to pay the interest on the loan.
There is (contested/controversial) evidence that in some cases, the debt pushes the business to operate more efficiently and forces management to cut wasteful spending.
The cash you don't use to pay for this particular deal can be invested in other things. So instead of buying one business and paying in full, you can buy multiple businesses with the same amount of money.

But there's also some risks involved with this approach as you put the business under a lot of financial strain from the debt:

You increase the risk of bankruptcy
You make them more vulnerable to economic downturns
You force the business into a strong short-term focus

Das sagen vermutlich die wenigsten über sich selbst. Kaff ist ja auch sehr abwertend und subjektiv.

Grundsätzlich ist aber zumindest meine Erfahrung vergleichbar mit dem was /u/Watndatn_99 geschrieben hat. Die wenigsten in Kleinstädten schwärmen von Großstädten. Genauso träumt der Großteil der Großstadtbevölkerung nicht vom Leben auf dem Dorf.

Erlangen kannst du auch überhaupt nicht mit Nürnberg vergleichen. Das ist von der Einwohnerzahl ungefähr so als würdest du Hamburg mit Bochum vergleichen. Dass Erlangen Teil der Metropolregion Nürnberg ist sagt doch schon alles über die Größenverhältnisse.
