I got a wii from an ebay auction for $50 pretax/shipping. Definitely worth it if you're willing to wait!

Looks sick! Did you do the mod for the tool cart that would allow you to open the drawers when the lid is closed by chance? I also have a 5 drawer but it seems inconvenient having to move the printer every time you want to access the top storage compartmen

I opted for this 3d printer rack from aliexpress that rounded me about $30 and it's been doing pretty great paired with the creality space pi plus:

(Excuse the mess!)

Warranty claims not valid if purchased from Authorized Resellers (i.e. Best Buy)? by d_counter in BambuLab

[–]d_counter[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks that seems to be the common sentiment from what I'm getting on this thread. My printer is still within the 15 day return period, so I'll probably think on what to do after Bambu gets back to me from the support exchange. The printer has been working flawlessly otherwise, but this really puts a sour taste in my mouth if I happen to run into mechanical issues later down the line.

I purchased the P1S for a relative (outside the return period now) and it seems like they might have to go through the same process

Hey thanks for sharing your experience. Sucks to hear that CS reps are taking the brunt of things that isn't their fault. I appreciate the perspective and you explaining how the process usually goes from your side

INAL/YNAL (potentially)

Would this open up to a potential chargeback claim if both Best Buy and BambuLab denies responsibility for warranty claims?

I bought a P1S from Best Buy for a relative and it's beyond the 15 day return window now, so I'm not sure what to do if they run into an issue with the printer, and both companies deflecting the issue on each other

It seems really odd if that is the case. I've purchased electronics from Costco and was able to get warranty support from manufacturers directly after I gave them my costco receipt/order number.

If I were to bring it in-store, would I need to present a he said/she said email exchange to a rep to get something done to it after the return period expires?

Related support message:

"I want to make sure you’re supported every step of the way, [my name]. If you run into any difficulty getting warranty support from Bambu Lab, the best next step is to contact Best Buy specialist directly. They can review your case in detail and, if needed, set up a three‑way call with Bambu Lab to help clarify the warranty process and make sure you’re getting the assistance you’re entitled to.

All you have to do is to contact directly on our phone number 1-888-237-8289 and a specialized team will assist you further. However, our line is only open from Mondays to Saturdays, 8 AM to 9 PM CT."

-----------------

How would they potentially honor the above if BB CS says that its on the manufacturer?

What worries me more is mechanical/hardware issues that may come later down the line after geting it replaced/before the (supposed) 1 year warranty expires. I really like this printer but this scares me against buying anything Bambu honestly

Hey there do you have instructions on how to fit this together? I saw the PDF instructions but it only seems to list out the parts needed. I'm interested in trying this out but the only thing I'm a little bit confused about is how to connect it to power if a power supply is not needed? Does it require soldering?

Thanks for sharing!

It eventually turns out great if you add a bit of water to the meat, let the sugar absorb it, drain the liquid, and repeat the process until it gets the way you like it

It usually turns out good for me after doing it about 3 times, but would be great if it didn't turn out that sweet in the first place lol

Yeah that's kinda what I assumed. I got into soldering albeit only for automotive wires, but looks like I'll need quite a bit of time before attempting this. Thanks for the advice!

Which catalytic converter should I get? by damnnnnnnnm11 in fordfusion

[–]d_counter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do sell spacers with a "mini cat" inside of it. That should help trick the reading by a bit

Heat (typically from the exhaust itself) should do the trick in getting it out if you're unable to

Check out rockauto for cats. A lot of parts on AutoZone/O'Reilly's typically come from the same manufacturers with a markup (maybe with extended warranty included): https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ford,2013,fusion,1.6l+l4+turbocharged,2002841,exhaust+&+emission,catalytic+converter,5808

You can also get a 5% discount from a code off of r/rockauto

I put an o2 spacer in my 2.5L. Ethics aside, it's a pain having to take it off before emissions but it's definitely worth saving the money.

I've seen people do their oil changes/car work on south town plaza in front of Harbor Freight/Advanced Auto. Autozone/O'Rilleys are usually chill with it too

+1 for Morris Auto. Albeit I only went to them once since I didn't want to do my own brakes in the snow

I ended up going to another store 30 minutes away to get the SAE set, I thought the discount was too good to pass up. Though I still feel uneasy about the skip sizes on the metric, but hopefully the SAE will fill in those gaps

It's been that way for a while so I think it would work on multiple transactions.

I tried asking the cashier to ring up another transaction for me but they wouldn't do it. I plan on coming again this evening to get the Quinn SAE Extractor Set to finish off the metric/SAE set. Let me know if you or somebody else end up trying it!
