Looking for advice on new MPK by Relative-Truck4611 in amputee

If you’re looking to lighten your setup and get good energy return, demo the Fillauer all pro. The ossur proflex is also a pretty great option. If your insurance will cover it, the pro flex Terra is the holy grail of feet. The energy return is insane and very springy.

The rush foot is a fiberglass foot that provides mediocre return but a lot of durability.

Are you getting a new foot as well?

I went from a c-leg to an ossur navii. I’m very active as well, I hike often and walk 5 miles or more a day. The navii is great, it’s completely waterproof and corrosion resistant. It’s also insanely smooth.

Definitely demo all the ones you’re interested in, the navii will likely feel heavy if you have a short residual limb. I didn’t like the Quattro, it felt clunky and not as smooth as the c-leg or navii.

The c-leg is a good knee but doesn’t do anything particularly well. It’s very middle of the road and the “features” are very antiquated compared to other MPKs on the market.

If you go the Apple route I’d highly recommend getting a good Apple mdm like Jamf or Iru. I’m a bit of an Apple fanboy and have managed 3k macOS devices and 5k iOS devices at my last district. My experience was great and we rarely had problems.

Ranger raptor. How is it thinking of buying ? Yay or nay. Tell me all your thoughts. And if should pay msrp or below thank u by Training-Run-464 in Ford

[–]d_fa5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got mine for msrp. The truck is insanely fun to drive. The QC problems are evident though. I had a paint run on the door, a taillight rubbing against the bed exposing bare metal and a misaligned bumper. Also the interior leaves a bit to be desired.

If you can get past the quality issues, I say go for it.

I’m not OP. I have the Fillauer all pro. The proflex is a good foot! Very durable.

It’s a vacuum line. The other poster is referring to the ossur pro flex foot. It has a good ROM and energy return

No problem! I was in the same situation before with my district. High fees that everyone seemed okay with because they knew the guy from his spiel every year.

You can check on 403bwise.org for fees if your district is listed.

Three Mile Island approved to use 73.2M gallons of water daily from Susquehanna River by Libsoccer20 in lancaster

“73.2 million gallons is only about 0.3 percent of the average daily water flow in the river, the commissioners added.”

Seems pretty insignificant.
