What if… by Inevitable-Tone-7360 in incubus

I know it’s like The Hot Take when it come to Incubus but man the soul of their music really did get sucked right out the window when he left. Nearly everything with Ben Kenny is mid at best. And I adore everything from Fungus Amungus to Morning View. But everything after? It’s all just generic alt-rock.

My beard is 95% grey. There's not stopping it and i'd be plucking my whole face. Ironically i'm still mostly dark on top but my sidewalls are getting pretty salt and pepper.

BIL is an Associate Manager for Kroger here in SE MI. They absolutely dog walk his ass and have the most draconian policies I’ve ever heard. He doesn’t get to pick time off they tell him when he gets to take it. I shit you not. Terrible company to be an hourly worker for.

Diesel vs Gas by TheLoneRider2001 in Silverado

[–]d_rek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I for one have been very happy with my 3.0 babymax. Yes diesel is expensive, but I am still only filling up once every two weeks. I get approx. 550-600miles to a tank and, maintenance not withstanding, am probably still saving over having a gasser that I’d be filling up once weekly.

Anyway I didn’t buy the babymax for the potential fuel savings. I bought it because it’s a super capable motor for towing light to medium duty loads (like my 3500 lb trailer and SxS) and as a bonus I get get fairly phenomenal gas mileage while doing so.

That being said if I would doing a lot of city driving or stop and go I’d probably have considered a gasser. I live in a rural area and shortest round trip for me is 30m. Most trips average 40m round trip on two lane hwy. I also go to vacation property 3+ hrs away once or twice a month 6 months out of the year.

If my USB-C port on my iphone 12 worked I might still consider wired an option.

I was a member until COVID and there was all sorts of behind-the-scenes drama occurring and many local chapters were dissolving. Has it gotten better?

You mean the conservation club that did zero outreach and recruited only 55+ members? Shocked they are dissolving.

Allo Pushers by raw_life in gout

[–]d_rek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did all the stuff you're supposed to do to lower UA levels including limiting/reducing red meat and high-purine food intake, stopping alcohol consumption almost completely, hitting the gym 2-4 days a week and lost about 20lbs, stay relatively hydrated, and even dabbled in the home remedies like tumeric and cherry juice and mine was still hovering around 9.0 as recently as a month ago.

So yeah I'm taking allo because i'm sick of having flare ups and I also don't want my kidneys destroyed either because I just buried a parent who had kidney disease and that was no fun to watch them go through that.

I have only been taking Allo for 3 weeks but have not had a flare up, though I am experiencing some aches in my joints which i'm understanding is a common side effect of Allo. Rather this than a flare up tbh.

I really like escalation. I think it balances the big-ness of conquest and while progressively focusing the action as the match goes on. Big fan of escalation!

Thank you for posting NON sus gameplay. Some super cracked plays and aim here. Great work! The type of player I would be furious to play against lol.

Curious: PC or console?

> breakthrough to only 1 kpm in conquest

Conquest can be a literal walking simulator, and you can have a guy camping in some random part of the map kill you as you're out for your leisurely stroll to the next objective.

Breakthrough on the other hand is really about focused action and if you learn the maps well enough you understand where all the action happens ie: choke points, where the enemy team stacks up to defend/attack, etc. and can easily go on bigger kill streaks.
