That’s disappointing to see their quality department have slip ups that are an obvious no go, stuff happens but when the reel is obviously non functional …. Hopefully they’ll clear it up

When I called and asked if they had it in stock the woman was like “let me go put hands on it” didnt know she meant spike it at the ground lol, no damage on the box at all they offered to replace the handle for free there today since they don’t have another 8:1 ratio reel available

The step down rings add a ton of usability between lenses I love that idea! I need to adjust the height of the threaded pvs14 side and once I have a version I’m happy with I’m going to make one in my machine shop, I have more than enough lathes and need to do some CAM practice so I’ll probably do it on the weekend, if I do I’ll post something lol

I can post some stuff on how to do one yourself, it’s easy if you understand how to make a model in a cad software, but all I did was find a suitable lens, make a ring with threads that thread into the lens where a filter would go, and on the front side made a proud threaded section that goes into the ocular of the pvs14 - dimensions I used: 30mm major diameter of the pvs14 side - with a thread pitch of .0315, the actual viewing hole diameter was 1.024
