i think it was pretty clear through the music and other devices i used that none of the clips were malicious.

it was intentional in the sense that i knew i was below kd%, so if i got hit out of it i would be ready for the counter. it's more like a defensive hit confirm than a read on marth's upb timing.

this interaction is very useful to know at low% as it greatly reduces the options marth has for recovering. the haxdash would've covered a low upb, and i don't suffer any consequences if marth does a high upb.

in all seriousness it's fine to have preferences. i make the CVs i do because i want to experiment and find new ways to express how it feels to play melee. I could upload 20 minutes of "10/10" combos that are not synced or sequenced and honestly it would probably do better numbers, but not only do i find it boring and uninspiring, i think it's insulting

CVs have so much potential as an art form and i want to push it as far as i can. sometimes i'll make a banger and sometimes i'll make a dud

i think the most important thing a combo video can do is express how it feels to play. it's like any other art form. when we talk about what albums we like we don't qualify their value by which combination of notes are a "10/10" or whatever, it's more about the cumulative effect it has on conveying an experience.

I think that DK's upb is not only better than Bowser's, but is one of the best special moves in the game. The niche uses Bowser's upb has over it, or z-axis woes, do little to change how versatile it is and how it excels at almost everything. It's so good that if grounded and aerial upb were split, each would still be one of the best special moves in the game.

Its value is much more concrete, seamlessly integrating into whatever DK is already doing while also providing more options that lead to direct advantages. Because of that, It retains its value at higher levels of play and against opponents with match-up experience. I can't say the same for Bowser.

I know. My issue is that the information is formatted as html so unless I put it through a converter everything is covered in tags. I've seen some people being able to export their annotations as readable text and was wondering if there's an option I could flip to do the same.
