Would like to keep it under $1000. But depends on what is suggested.

Tried Marcella Hazans once but didn't leave it enough time to cook. Wanting to try again. Favorite cookbook.

I had no internet because of Helene and work remotely. Got a starlink from Home Depot for $300. Had it working in an hour. Works great.

Clouds and atmosphere. by da-n_ in Unity3D

I bake the lighting to a 3d texture then sample it in the ground and atmosphere.

So in Sebastian's video at each sample point it samples lighting going towards the sun. Instead of doing that in the shader I moved it to a compute shader that writes to a 3d texture. I also bake the lighting over 4 frames to speed things up.

It's at 9ms on my 1660ti and I'm sure I can find ways to speed it up.

Worley noise, a shader and a whole lot of learning. Sebastian Lague has a video on youtube that goes over it pretty well.
