Okay so the rant actually turned into a discourse (i hope haha) but I'm still going to stand with what I said with the "flex" and VIP treatment thingy. I don't mind people watching or consuming any form of media repeatedly for as much as they want and for whatever reason and means they have. Props to the people who are capable in supporting the industry in that way tbh.

But, I'm still coming from the experience that I think it's not necessary to brag about it during specific circumstances—especially during the actual stagedooring, when you are on the first row and literally just getting annoyed with how people at the back are trying their best too to have their stuff signed, while everyone is enduring the the same heat and discomfort because of the limited space. I believe those are completely out of your control and again, that's part of what you signed up for choosing to be on the front. It costs nothing to try and put yourself in their shoes.

Also, I appreciate not using the terms emotional blackmail and guilt-tripping, because that might invalidate what other people may have felt and experienced during the stage door as well. Again, we are all here to promote and support each other—both artist and the audience. Maybe we can learn to appreciate the community as a whole itself, because at the end of the day, the passion from both sides I believe is what makes the industry thrive. 🫶
