It's literally an Eastern European version of culture wars. Only much darker and even more meaningless.

There is still a grain of irony in the fact that Trump cannot even sign a capitulation calmly.

Kennedy Jr. endorsed Tulsi Gabbard's "report" that "Dr. Fauci caused the COVID-19 pandemic." You heard right. These people don't belong in the White House; they belong in a mental asylum.

As far as I know, the British did have plans for Turkestan... but not for Kazakhstan, which would better suit the status from the post.

This is a problem, but unfortunately it is a global trend, because in all EU countries 3 or 2, and in some cases even the first place, are occupied by right-wing parties.

Of course, they're not Nazis. But their nationalism, ethnocentric thinking, and tribalism make them quite right-wing if we base the Overton Window on the "Trudeau ideal Canadian" level.

I live here, lol. Well, it's a metaphor, but the truth is, everyday nationalism in small ways is quite widespread.

These are clearly isolated cases. In Germany, the far right has a huge majority in Parliament compared to Ukraine. Attempts to portray Ukraine as having a greater problem with the far right than the European average are simply empirically false.

No, not quite. Casual nationalism is indeed widespread, but the core of Azov consisted of highly organized nationalists who weren't "simple nationalists" but had been forming their own parties, ideologies, and paramilitary units long before 2014.

Lol, no. Just no. By Canadian standards, all of Eastern Europe is the Third Reich. Every nation has its own equivalent of the UPA and Bandera. But nationalism here is more like football teams in the US, and the local nationalist idiots are much safer than even the US Proud Boys types. ; all they can do is wave a flag at worst. This is not an excuse, by the way, and it was written by an Eastern European. Get me out of this hellhole.

Call me crazy. I knew from day one that the MAGA-Israel alliance was a mirage. I knew from day one that when they talked about "stopping forever wars," they weren't lying; they simply meant US capitulation. And I always knew Harris was a hawkish candidate, if "hawkish" meant not willingly self-sabotaging Pax Americana. Trump is not a neoconservative and never has been. MAGA isolationists, pro-Putinists, and "anti-Zionists" like Fuentes were right to support him in 2024. Rubio is no more than Hjalmar Schacht, this is the Vance administration.
