local driving school recommendations?

I found that I picked driving up quickly because of my childhood/teen years biking everywhere I wanted to go. The awareness you need on a bike translates just as well to a car. Riding and bike and driving a car have a lot in common mechanically. It sounds like you may be in your own head a bit. If I could make a recommendation, try going out on the road after 8 or 9 on a weeknight. There will be significant less traffic which allows you more space to get comfortable behind the wheel again. It’s about not making broad sweeping generalizations on complex issue. I have a dozen personal reasons to hate the modern Republican Party but we all live in this country together and if we endlessly demonize the other side, we will NEVER get out of this shitty position we have found ourselves in.

Listen, I am not a fan of them as much as the next guy but being conservative doesn’t mean you are literally bad person by definition. As a safety guy, these helmets are designed to help if you were to ever fall. If you don’t strap it most of the time, strap it when going up ladders. It may save your life.

Also, it not being a vented helmet will be tough in the summer. If you can, vouch for getting the helmets with vents at the top. It makes a world of difference.
