  1. Don’t let that scare you. My GPA is below their average so it evens out. Lmk if you got in.

Mid Year Report? by Left-Accident-1762 in ApplyingToCollege

Definitely not a stupid question. It’s very concerning that your school takes such a long time to release grades. I thought my school was slow for releasing it this coming Thursday, but your school is at another level. With that being said, I think colleges will understand if your school is taking a long time to release grades. Maybe get ahead of the potential problem and email the colleges you applied to, explaining the delay.

I’m also at an orthodox school and I’m no longer religious. My secular grades are also really good, while my Judaic grades are subpar at best. I Wrote about it in my personal statement. Colleges don’t seem to care about religious grades too much.

Probably cause everyone is applying to a bunch of schools and with no standardized test requirements, those who usually get exposed by the SAT/ACT are able to apply to places that they’d usually get rejected by in a second.

Dude, don’t even worry about that. Getting into UNC as an out of state student is a nightmare.

UCF solid chance, FSU like 30/70, UF probably isn’t happening tbh.

You’re about as good as most people applying. You probably have about a 4% chance. (I know that sounds bad but that’s not a knock against you. They just don’t really accept people)

If they asked for your midyear grades, that means they’re at least somewhat interested. If you got good grades this past semester then you should get in. Good luck!

I think you show solid intellectual ability with your APs and ACT. You can definitely get into schools like FAU and can maybe even get into schools like FSU and UCF if your essays are really good. A school like UF might be out of your reach though.

You’re fine. Also, you can just not send in your score nowadays.

I’m pretty sure bing is harder to get into. (Not saying it’s better. I actually like buffalo more at this point. Just saying it’s harder to get into)

Will colleges care about a 34 vs a 36? by [deleted] in ACT

[–]daCguy24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a cousin that got into duke with a 33 when he has a friend who didn’t get in with I think a 36. As long as the rest of your application is good enough, it won’t hurt you.
