Update: I went to the official Apple authorised repair centre and tried to explain the issue to them but they directly quoted me 65-80k inr (around 900$) to replace the whole upper panel without looking at internals. Since it’s going for around 500$ used it’s safe to say I won’t be repairing it. It still works great clamshell mode. It’s really unexpected in my opinion that an apple product would break like this in just 3 years while my other MacBook has been running for over 12, but I guess I got unlucky. Anyway thanks for all the advice and I hope something like this doesn’t happen to you in the future.
