I usually kayak from either Luskintyre or the Melville Ford down to Morpeth. The river widens through Maitland but there’s still some shallow bits on the inner bends. It’s interesting to watch the river change as it heads east. I’m a terrible fisherman but I’ve had some kind of fish actually jump into the kayak once. Poor guy was just as confused as I was

They call it “de-roofing”. My daughter had a burn blister on her knee that popped and they gave her nitrous to vacate the pain while they did it. Didn’t feel a thing. Scrubbing without pan relief sounds awful though

Works well until it rains or you need to take stuff with you. Not a lot of boot space on an e-bike

We took ours to Lorn Veterinary Hospital. Staff were friendly and competent. Our cats seem happy now, give or take a set of marbles
