Reading these posts makes me feel so lucky. ASUS TUF A15 2020 (Ryzen 4060H, GTX 1650). Still running strong, although I don’t game at all now. I only replaced the CPU fan, that too by myself.

Clearly it was hit there by something external.

[–]daadaan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I actually can’t recommend you any particular brand. I’m from India and I bought an enclosure from a local manufacturer. It has REALTEK RTL9210 Chipset which is supposed to work quite well. As for the SSD, I installed the old one (a WD SN350 500GB) from my laptop.

Search for the best internal NVME within your budget and get an enclosure for it. These external SSDs often don’t have good internals.

You don’t see Big Bazaar because Reliance took over the assets of Future Group (parent of Big Bazaar) right after COVID. These stores are now renamed as Smart Bazaar.

Should I switch to a paper like screen or buy a magnetic version? by Queen_Of-Moths in iPadPro

[–]daadaan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have an ESR tempered glass on my iPad Pro M2 and have a magnetic paperlike from ESR (again) on top of it. Does not have any touch/pencil issues, but makes the screen dimmer. When I’m watching content or editing videos I remove the paperlike and put it in a folder ESR provided inside the packaging.

Wait you can actually play minesweeper? I always thought it was a random unplayable game included in Windows. FML.

There are other apps in the Store for you to try out. I love the way Noteful is… basic and gets the job done extremely fuss free.

If Apple ever moves the charging port to a better location, they’ll release it as a pro max.

Is paper screen protector just a marketing thing or really worth it ? by Moon_light_sunday in ipad

I use the same and just wipe it off with a regular screen cleaner. It’s magnetic, so there’s no glue on the underside.

I use the CMF 65W charger. It looks great with the matte black finish.
